Notes:

  1. All registration fees are in US dollars.
  2. For ACM Member Registration, please provide ACM Membership number during the online registration.
  3. For Student Registration, you MUST be a full-time student at the time of the conference in February 2011 (not the time of paper submission). An official and valid student ID from a full-time enrolled institution must be:
    1. scanned and sent to wsdm2011@gmail.com with a subject heading, “WSDM2011 Student Registration” by the time of registration, and
    2. presented at the registration desk when picking up your badge at the conference.
  4. Additional banquet tickets and eProceedings can be purchased during your online registration. They can also be purchased at the registration desk if not sold out.

Half-day Tutorial Registration (9 February 2010) One morning or one afternoon tutorial session, coffee breaks, lunch, eproceedings, and other tutorial materials.
Full-day Tutorial Registration (9 February 2010) One morning and one afternoon tutorial session, coffee breaks, lunch, eproceedings, and other tutorial materials.
Full-Day Workshop Registration (9 February 2010) One full-day workshop, coffee breaks, lunch, eproceedings, and other workshop materials.

Methods of Payment

Registration fees must be paid in US dollars by credit card at the online registration page.

Cancellation Policy

  • There is a $100 fee if you cancel before December 31, 2010
  • There is a 50% or $100 fee, whichever is higher, if you cancel between January 1, 2011 and February 1, 2011.
  • There is no refund after February 1, 2011.

Visa Information

  • You may check the information here to see whether you need a visa to enter Hong Kong.
  • We do not issue letters of invitation for employees of commercial organizations from countries that require a visa to Hong Kong unless the organization is known for being active in Web search, data mining and related fields. If in doubt, please contact us before registering.
  • We will ONLY issue invitation letters when a delegate is duly registered to WSDM 2011, i.e., a registration form has been made, and the related registration fees have been fully paid and received by our accounting office. Please send your request for an invitation letter with a subject heading, “WSDM2011 Request for An Invitation Letter” to wsdm2011@gmail.com.
